John Kimm

Managing Director

John Kimm is a Managing Director of Evercore’s corporate advisory business, focusing on a broad range of industries and on Evercore’s Asian M&A activities. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Kimm was responsible for leading Banc of America Securities’ M&A activities for the Business & Technology Services Group, where he executed a wide range of transactions including sell-sides, buy-sides, mergers and joint ventures. Prior to joining Banc of America Securities, he spent over seven years in the M&A Groups of Bear Stearns and Jefferies & Co., and also had private equity experience with Three Cities Research. Before entering the investment banking field, Mr. Kimm was a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company.

Mr. Kimm received an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School, where he was a Palmer Scholar, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
