Established in 1996, Evercore Partners is a leading investment banking boutique providing advisory services to prominent multinational corporations and financial sponsors on significant mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and other strategic corporate transactions. Evercore also has a successful investment management business through which we also manage private equity funds, institutional assets and private wealth. We serve a diverse set of clients and investors around the world from our offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, District of Columbia, Houston, London, Mexico City and Monterrey. We also have strategic alliances that operate in Japan, Brazil, France and China.
We were founded on the belief there was an opportunity within the investment banking market for a firm free of the potential conflicts of interest created within large, multi-product financial institutions. We also believed that an independent advisory business, with its broad set of relationships, would provide a differentiated investment platform upon which to launch a high value added investment business.
